Guadalajara (ist eine Stadt in Mexiko mit 1,5 Millionen Einwohnern/Volkszählung 2005) ist zu sehen.  Sie liegt im Westen des mexikanischen Hochlandes, etwa 500 Kilometer westlich der Hauptstadt Mexiko-Stadt. Die Stadt Guadalajara bildet den größten Teil des Municipio Guadalajara. Guadalajara ist Hauptstadt des Bundesstaates Jalisco. Die Stadt ist Sitz eines Erzbischofs und hat viele Kirchen. Sie besitzt mehrere Universitäten wie beispielsweise die zweitälteste Universität Mexikos, die Universidad de Guadalajara, welche 1792 gegründet wurde.
