Brent Spiners Statements gegen Waffen

Am Mittwoch hat US-Schauspieler Brent Spiner (Android Lieutenant Commander Data in der Science-Fiction-Serie “Raumschiff Enterprise: Das nächste Jahrhundert”/“Star Trek: The Next Generation”/TNG – 1987 bis 1994) auf Twitter seine Statements gegen Waffen in den USA geäußert. Ein polarisierendes Thema und es gab einige „Fans“, die meinten sinngemäß er sollte sich als Promi um sein Business kümmern und nicht seine politische Meinung sagen. Das ist wirklich arrogant. Ich teile Brent Spiners Meinung (auch andere Fans haben sich zustimmend geäußert).

So we didn’t pass the assault weapons ban. Makes sense. Why ban the things that make ours a responsible society?

Okay, from what I’m getting guns aren’t the problem. Drugs aren’t the problem. Alcohol is not a problem. People are the problem. Ban People!
